InstaSource: Share Instagram Photos Easily
InstaSource is a free Chrome extension developed by aytee that aims to make it easier to share photos on Instagram web. This handy extension solves the problem of not being able to copy an image to the clipboard or open it in a new tab on the Instagram web version.
With InstaSource, you can now conveniently share Instagram images across the web. This extension works particularly well with platforms like Discord and Slack. By copying the image link and pasting it into a chat, InstaSource automatically converts the link to an image. This eliminates the need to rely on Instagram's default share option, which can be unreliable in showing image previews.
Currently, InstaSource's functionality is only available when viewing images in feed mode or as a single image. It does not yet support grid view. However, it offers useful commands to enhance your experience. Pressing Ctrl/CMD + left click allows you to copy the link to the image, while Shift + left click opens the image in a new tab.
